I have only been playing games on PC for around 6 years. I finally built my first custom built over Christmas of the recent year. I asked my friend where to start he wanted to get rid of some spare parts he had left because he just built a new PC very recently. Since I was his friend, he was willing to cut me a deal on some of the parts. Most of my PC where actually his used parts. The only thing I had to purchase was some CPU fans and a Hard Drive Disk. With some new and old parts, I invited my friend over and we got to building a PC.
It wasn’t too long of a process and we started the computer and wiped the memory of the computer. We then started a fresh install of windows with that we were done the PC once windows were installed the PC was fully functional. I now have access to run most games at high setting on a 1080p resolution and it felt good. Overall, I’ve put 900 dollars into the PC. It was on and fully functioning but now I needed a new keyboard.
I had both a working mouse and headset for gaming with my laptop, but I needed a keyboard to be able to operate the PC. I was horrified that I could forget such a simple thing. I went out and got a Corsair K55 keyboard all of my friends gave Corsair high remarks and my mouse at the time was made by them and was overall amazing quality. So, with all this work done I was ready to get my computer set up. I attached my monitor to it plugged it in and it sprang to life it felt so amazing to see the computer spring to life after having built it.
It’s been 5 months since then and it has been performing the best I could hope for. The PC runs any game I want at the highest settings. I am not in the market to upgrade the cooling system in my PC. Right now, I am considering a water-cooling system for the PC, but I will let you all know later if that happens.
